Season 1 · Episode 06 · about 30 minutes
The Defector
A scout flees across the Vaharan border with a warship on its tail and a secret to sell.
The story
The IKAREE patrols Brachium, right on the line of a twelve-year-old peace treaty. A damaged Vaharan scout crosses it with a warship behind. The pilot asks for asylum and says the Concord is secretly building where the treaty forbids it. He is telling the truth. That's the problem.
The choice
If he is right and you do nothing, the treaty is already dead. If he is wrong and you cross the line, you killed it.
Your officers
Reed argues with everyone, then the other side. Cole has lived through one border war and does not want another.
No spoilers beyond the opening. The rest depends on you.
