Captain on the Bridge In memory of Sir Patrick Stewart
Take the captain's chair of the deep-space explorer IKAREE and fly through the real Milky Way: some 11,000 real stars and their exoplanets, all around you in VR. Speak your orders out loud, and your AI-driven bridge crew answers, argues, advises and makes it happen.

Every star outside the windows is a real one, at its real position: about 11,000 of them, with their known exoplanets. VR is what makes it real: you look out and the Milky Way is there.
Explore the galaxySeason 1 is only the beginning. About 100 missions are planned across the whole Milky Way, from the Core Worlds to the edge of the map.
Season 1A mission is one data file, no programming. Write yours, and your story and your ship live on in the galaxy. Other captains will meet them.
How missions are madeIKAREE never teleports you and never slides you around. Seated, the ship moves outside the windows. In Live mode you walk on your own feet.
ComfortStand up from your real chair and walk the bridge. Take the turbolift in the corner of your room to eight decks, from engineering to the crew lounge.
The ship & Live mode01Voice command
There is no list of keywords and no menu between you and your ship. Speak the way a captain speaks. Six officers listen, answer in their own voices, push back when they disagree and carry out what you decide.
02The bridge crew
Each one has a history, a sense of humour, a way of disagreeing and something they never say out loud. They remember what you decide.
Engineering Chief Duarte, on the intercom from the engine room.

04The real Milky Way
The sky around the IKAREE is built from astronomical catalogues: about 11,000 real stars and the confirmed exoplanets that orbit them. Pick a destination on the system map, give the order and go to warp.
05Season 1
Every episode starts on routine duty. Then something happens, and you decide whether to respond and how. Every episode is set at a real star, has several endings, and your crew remembers what you chose.

The IKAREE serves the Planetary Union: five member species bound by a fragile charter, and five powers beyond its borders, from the Sarrakh Hegemony to the silent Custodian probes. You speak; the translator does its best. Not everything comes across.

Red alert
Phasers, photon torpedoes, evasive manoeuvres and shield impacts. Or slip away under silent running. Lock on with the tractor beam.
08Live mode · in development
Stand up from your real chair and walk the bridge on your own feet. Your chair stays the captain's chair, and a turbolift in the corner of your room takes you to eight decks. No teleporting: the floor never moves under you.
09Comfort
Seated, you stay in the captain's chair and the ship moves outside the windows, not under you. In Live mode you walk on your own feet. There is no artificial locomotion, no snap turning and no teleport anywhere in the game.
10Questions
No. IKAREE is an original game with its own ship, crew, species and story. It is inspired by the optimistic starship television of the 1990s: a captain, a bridge, a crew who argue honestly, and stories built around a hard choice. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Star Trek franchise or its owners.
Yes, that is the plan. A mission in IKAREE is a single data file, not code: you describe the situation, what can be discovered, the choice and the endings, and a validator checks it before anyone plays it. Creator tools for players are in development. The goal is that your story and your ship then live on in the galaxy, and other captains can meet them.
Yes. The six bridge officers are AI-driven characters with written personalities, histories and relationships. Their dialogue is generated live, so they respond to what you actually say. They are fictional characters, not real people.
No. IKAREE avoids teleport locomotion completely. Seated, you stay in the captain’s chair and the ship moves outside the windows. In the upcoming Live mode you walk on your own feet, and the turbolift takes you between decks with light and sound while the floor stays still.
