The story
The survey at HD 95338 should be routine: confirm planet b and move on. Then amplitude-modulated radio comes in from a third world nobody has charted. A radio-age civilisation lives there, and the ground beneath them is about to break.
The choice
Rules against contact exist for good reasons. Is a young voice calling into the dark one of them?
