The story
The IKAREE maps a field of wrecks around the white dwarf HIP 23692: hundreds of ships of two unknown species, frozen after a battle older than human writing. At its centre lies a warship that is almost intact. Getting closer was the easy part.
The choice
Every escape has a price, and the ship's power is suddenly the most dangerous thing aboard.
